I spent six years making sure physical freight left a manufacturing plant in the right order, on the right route, with the right paperwork. I am now a second year Computing student at National College of Ireland, applying the same thinking to packets instead of pallets, and building toward cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure and systems networking.

At Saica Pack I plan delivery routes across Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK. That means choosing paths under changing conditions, keeping records accurate across systems, and spotting the one bad address before it costs a day. Network engineering asks the same questions in a different vocabulary: what path does this take, what happens when it fails, and who is allowed to touch it.
That is what I am studying for now. I hold a 2004 IT Technician diploma from Krakow, I use ERP and warehouse systems daily, and I am currently working toward CompTIA Security+ alongside the degree.

A group web application tracking lower carbon transit vectors across Dublin, built around UN Sustainable Development Goals 11 and 13. Multi page and responsive, with an interactive JavaScript CO2 savings calculator, a sourced data table, and semantic markup throughout. Deployed on GitHub Pages, version controlled with Git.
A bilingual site for a Polish dance night promoter in County Dublin, built end to end and deployed on Netlify. English and Polish content switching, a video background hero, a live countdown to the next event, a nine clip video gallery, and a review form with a hidden honeypot field to catch bots. Full Open Graph and Twitter card metadata, verified in Google Search Console, and ranking on the first page of Google within days of launch.

Read it bottom to top: retail, then warehouse, then running a dispatch operation, and now a degree. Every step added systems I had to keep running.

Studied two evenings a week plus Saturdays, alongside full time work. • Year 1 completed with a 79% overall average (First Class Honours standard), 60/60 credits. Highest results: Web Design and Development 96%, The Computing Industry 88%, Introduction to Data Science and AI 85%, Discrete Mathematics 84%, Programming Concepts 84%.
Later years add advanced computer networks, security fundamentals, and a work placement in year three. I am taking the technical elective route toward the year four Cybersecurity specialisation: secure application programming, penetration testing, digital forensics, DevOpsSec, and governance, ethics and security. Studying for CompTIA Security+ in parallel.

Goods intake, order picking, stock management and dispatch to Irish, Northern Irish and Italian markets. Kept inventory accurate in the warehouse management system, coordinated agency staff, and held health and safety compliance across a high volume operation.

Two things I do outside work and study, and the habit each one keeps sharp.
A new city forces you to read an unfamiliar system quickly: signage, transit, currency, local rules. It is the same reflex as landing in a codebase or a network you have never seen before.
Plan the route, check the weather, carry what you actually need, and keep going when the last hour is the hard one. Long problems get solved the same way as long climbs.
