About This Project
SDG 11 - Sustainable Cities SDG 13 - Climate ActionTransport is one of the biggest sources of carbon emissions in Ireland. In Dublin alone, private cars account for over 60% of all commuter journeys, contributing significantly to air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. This website explores sustainable alternatives: cycling infrastructure, the Luas tram network, and Dublin Bus, and the impact they are making on the city's carbon footprint.
What We Cover
Cycling in Dublin
Dublin Bikes, the National Cycle Network, and new protected lanes are encouraging more people to choose two wheels over four.
